TLDR: What are My Favorite Pieces?
For you lazy readers, here’s a quick recap of what I loved. Overall, I was super impressed with the quality and fit of most of the items I purchased from Pretty Little Thing. The Stone Veronica Waterfall Tie Waist Coat was a standout, with a soft, luxurious feel and flattering fit for under under $20!
The Chocolate Mesh Asymmetric Strap Bodycon Dress was also a winner, with a unique asymmetrical strap and great quality fabric. It’s the epitome of sexy simplicity at its finest. Can’t wait to hit the clubs or party with this one!
I also love the Chocolate Oversized Weave With Gold Chain Shoulder Bag. I wear this everyday now and I’ve received compliments on it too. It looks expensive and stylish!
However, some items did fall short in terms of quality and fit. The Black Satin Button Up Pointed Hem Bodycon Dress and Khaki Marl Rib Cross Over Cut Out Top just didn’t look flattering and fit too big on me. I should have sized down. 🙁 The Camel Twill Pocket Detail Wide Leg Pants was too long and the wide leg style was a bit too exaggerated for me.
If you’re looking for a stylish and versatile bag that can easily take you from day to night, the Chocolate Oversized Weave with Gold Chain Shoulder Bag from Pretty Little Thing is definitely worth considering.
The first thing that caught my eye was the woven texture of the bag, which adds an interesting dimension to any outfit. It reminds me of the designer Bottega Veneta Padded Cassette Crossbody Bag (check out the Amazon designer dupe of that bag here).
The gold chain detail is also a nice touch, adding some extra sophistication and glam to the bag’s overall design.
In terms of practicality, the bag is a good size and can hold all your daily essentials without feeling too bulky or heavy. You can wear it as a shoulder bag with the gold chain straps or clip on the crossbody straps that come with it.
The only downside is that the bag had a strong scent and needed to be aired out before I could wear it. (I have to admit that I did wear it out anyways before the smell dissipated anyways. Haha! That counts as “airing it out” too, right?)
Overall, I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a trendy yet practical accessory to add to their collection. It’s so cute and a quality Pretty Little Thing item that you can wear it two different ways!
- Stylish and trendy design
- Spacious enough to hold essentials
- Can be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag
- Versatile brown color and can be paired with different outfits
- The soft faux leather could possibly be scratched easily
- The gold chain strap may be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods (just pack light!)
If you need a stylish coat that can keep you warm during the spring and fall seasons, the Stone Veronica Waterfall Tie Waist Coat from Pretty Little Thing is a closet staple. This coat was just under $20, so I did not expect much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
One of the things I love about this coat is its unique design. The waterfall front gives it a more feminine and flowy look, while the tie waist cinches in your waist for a more flattering silhouette.
The stone color is also a nice neutral that can easily match just about any outfits. If you need an outerwear piece and have no idea what to wear, just throw this on top of the outfit and you’ll look so chic.
In terms of warmth, the coat does a decent job of keeping you comfortable in cooler temperatures. I wouldn’t recommend it for extremely cold temperatures as it’s too thin.
I also didn’t love that the pockets are not sewn on the inside and look a bit cheap when the coat is open.
Overall, I think this coat is a great addition to any wardrobe and a surprisingly good quality Pretty Little Thing piece. It can even be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I got size 2 for a slightly more oversized fit so that I can layer up underneath and it’s perfect. I also recommend sizing up so you can layer a thin sweater under, if needed!
- Stylish and unique waterfall draping
- Very affordable and look more expensive than it was
- Flattering fit that cinches at the waist with a belt
- It’s thin, so I would wear it in the winter
- The pocket fabric on the inside looks a bit cheap
When I saw this on the model, I just knew I had to try this on. You can buy the pieces separately, but I wanted the complete set. I loved the gold hammered detailing on both pieces and I needed the full set to get the whole look!
This top is strapless and has removable padding. The real stunner on the is obviously the gold hammered hardware that holds the piece together. It accentuates the bust area and contrasts beautifully with the black fabric. The gold hardward adds a touch of glam to an otherwise basic black bikini.
The swimsuit bottoms are just as gorgeous. I love how the gold hardware ties in with the top and also helps create a V-waistline, which gives the illusion of a smaller waist.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I got size 0 for both the top and bottom. It is true to size for the bottoms, but the top was a bit too snug. Still wearable and super cute though!
- Strapless and comes with removable padding
- Stylish hammered metal detailing
- Accentuates and flatters the bust and waist
- May not provide enough support for larger bust sizes
- The top was a bit too snug for me
The Chocolate Mesh Asymmetric Strap Bodycon Dress caught our eye with its unique design and sultry appeal. This looks like a simple mini dress, but simple and impactful details.
The dress features an asymmetrical strap that adds a touch of edge, while the mesh detailing on the side adds a hint of sexiness.
Plus, the material of the dress is stretchy and comfortable to wear, and it fits like a glove. This is my favorite mini dress so far and a great quality Pretty Little Thing piece.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I sized up for this dress and got size 2. This fit me perfectly, so I would recommend sizing up for this dress.
- Unique and sexy assymetrical neckline and mesh overlay
- Good quality material that is comfortable to wear
- Hugs the body’s curves to perfection
- Runs small, so definitely size up
The Black Satin Button Up Pointed Hem Bodycon Dress is an edgier take on the classic little black dress (LBD!). The dress features a satin material that adds a touch of elegance, while the pointed hem adds a subtle edge.
It also has a button-up fastening, strappy details, and a bodycon fit. I am obsessed with the small details!
Unfortunately, this dress did fit a bit too big on me–particularly in the bust area (IBTC problems). I would need to get the dress altered so that it hugs my upper half better.
In this case, I should have sized down for this dress. Other than that, I love the overall look and spicy details on this dress.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I sized up and got a size 2 when I really should have sized down so that it would fit me better on my top half.
- Satin material that gives off a slightly classy vibe
- Flattering bodycon fit that accentuates curves
- The fit on the top was too big on me, so I should have sized down
I vowed that I would step out of my fashion comfort zone this year and try clothes that I would never wear. This is where this wrap-front bralette comes in. I dress pretty conservatively, so this was pretty dang scary to try on. *embarrassed*
If you love wearing bralettes, you have to try this out! The knit material is soft and stretchy, making it wrap perfectly around the body and bust area. It’s a great quality Pretty Little Thing piece.
It’s also adjustable, so you can make it as tight or loose as you would like. The wrap front detailing adds a unique touch and allows for a customizable fit. I am in love with the strappy details and slight side-boob action. This would work on any body shape.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! I got it in the size XS and it works perfectly for me. The sizing is very forgiving because it is adjustable and made with a stretchy knit fabric.
- Soft and comfortable material
- Stretchy and form-fitting
- Unique wrap front detailing
- May not provide enough support for larger bust sizes
Denim pieces are all the rage right now! It’s a fun throwback to Y2K style too. Pretty Little Thing’s Light Blue Acid Wash Seam Detail Corset Denim Top is a trendy piece that can be styled in Y2K inspired outfits or just cool casual outfits.
The corset-style detailing gives the top a fitted and flattering silhouette, while the acid wash adds an edgy touch. The seam detailing also adds an interesting texture to the overall look of the top.
I also love the sweetheart necklace, which is so flattering and gives it that perfect feminine touch. This is such a cool corset top that would be a fun weekend wardrobe staple. I can’t get over the quality of this Pretty Little Thing corset!
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! I always get my size for corset tops at Pretty Little Thing and I never have a sizing problem with that. They always hug my body and bust area perfectly. I can even wear my Strapless Multiway Bra from Pepper underneath!
- Fitted and flattering silhouette
- Trendy corset-style detailing
- Edgy acid wash design
- Feminine sweetheart neckline
- May be too tight or uncomfortable for some body types
- The corset detailing may require frequent adjustment
Cargo pants are coming back hard this year. These practical pants filled with ultilitarian pockets are trending in all sorts of styles and colors. I wanted to check out what they hype was all about, so I got the Camel Twill Pocket Detail Wide Leg Pants from Pretty Little Thing.
Made from a camel twill fabric, these pants feature a high waistline, wide leg cut, and utilitarian pockets. It even has a cool leg slit that can be opened or closed with a zipper.
The pockets add a functional touch to the pants, making them perfect for everyday wear. The pants come in a classic camel color that pairs well with a variety of tops and shoes.
These pants are pretty long so they’re meant to bunch up at the shoes. If I wear heeled ankle boots, they skim right over them.
However, the wide leg cut is too exaggerated for me and makes it less wearable. This could just be that I’m not used to the style though.
I also noticed that the crotch zipper can sometimes unzip if I move too much. I was disappointed with the quality of this Pretty Little Thing piece.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I bought these pants in the size 0 and they were pretty true to size. However, the length of the pants is very long for me, so I have to be comfortable with the bunching at the ankles of always wear ankle boots. :/
- Classic camel color that pairs well with different tops and shoes
- High waistline with a flattering fit
- Utilitarian pockets for a functional touch
- Cool zipper at the legs that can be unzipped to reveal a cool leg slit
- Sizing may be inconsistent
- Length may be too long for some individuals
The Black Croc Vintage Gold Buckle Western Belt from Pretty Little Thing is a stylish and versatile accessory that can add a touch of edge to any outfit. Made from croc-embossed faux leather, this belt features a vintage gold buckle that adds a Western-inspired vibe.
The belt is adjustable, so it can be worn at the waist or the hips, depending on the desired look. It can be worn with high-waisted jeans or shorts to cinch in the waist and add some visual interest.
I also love the quality of this Pretty Little Thing piece!
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! I always struggle to find belts that fit without having to punch a new hole or won’t have too much excess material hanging out. I usually wear a size 24 in pants and this is perfect.
- Stylish and versatile accessory
- Croc-embossed faux leather adds texture
- The vintage gold buckle adds a Western-inspired vibe
- Adjustable sizing
- Adds shape and visual interest to outfits
- Quality may not be as durable as a genuine leather belt
Bodysuits are a closet staple and I have plenty of them, but this one is an elevated and sexy version. I picked this one out particularly because of the high leg cute.
This bodysuit is made from a stretchy woven fabric and features a strappy design and a very high-leg cut. I intend to wear this with low-rise or high-rise bottoms, depending on how much skin I want to show off. 😉 The overall quality of this Pretty Little Thing piece is great!
The bodysuit features a bodycon fit, thin shoulder straps, and popper button fastening at the bottom. I absolutely love the fit and style of it!
It looks just like it does on the model and it makes me feel so sexy and confident. This is an elevated basic that everyone should have in their wardrobe. It’s a fun and trendy piece that’s great for a night out.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I size up for Pretty Little Thing’s bodysuits, so I got a size 2. It fits like a dream!
- The material is stretchy and comfortable to wear
- The strappy design is unique and trendy
- The high leg cut is flattering and elongates the legs
- Can feel a bit tight
This sweatshirt features a relaxed, oversized fit and a sand-colored hue. I find myself wearing it all the time now in the winter–at the gym, lounging around at home, or literally anywhere I want to feel comfy.
The Sand Oversized Sweatshirt from Pretty Little Thing is a cozy and stylish piece for lounging or running errands. The oversized fit is comfortable and on-trend, and the sand color is a nice neutral color that matches with anything.
The material is soft and warm, perfect for chilly days. It also has a soft fleece lining that’ll keep you warm all day long. Plus, the sleeves are extra long so they keep my arms and hand toasty too. It’s a great quality of Pretty Little Thing piece.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! I just got my typical size, which is XS. It’s also meant to fit oversized.
- The oversized fit is comfortable and cozy
- The sand color is versatile and easy to pair outfits with
- The material is soft and comfortable to wear
- Comes with a fleece lining inside
- The oversized fit may not be flattering on all body types.
First up, let’s talk about the Black Longline Lapel Detail Faux Leather Blazer. It’s not your typical office workwear blazer, this one is made for the city streets.
This faux leather blazer has a longline cut, lapel detailing, and a button down front. It’s a cool and sleek blazer that you can pair with your casual outfits, like a white cropped tee and high-waisted jeans.
It’s a great piece to style a model off-duty aesthetic too! I am absolutely obsessed with the combination of a blazer cut mixed with the toughness of the faux leather material. Love the quality of this Pretty Little Thing piece.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I wanted a more oversized fit so I sized up one size and got it in the size 2.
- The blazer is well-constructed and feels sturdy.
- The lapel detailing gives it a chic and polished look.
- It’s a “blazer,” but it’s not for your typical office and more for fashion
Next, we have the Stone Marl Rib Collar Long Sleeve Bodysuit. This bodysuit is made from a soft and stretchy ribbed material with a plunging V-neckline, long sleeves, and a collar.
It also features a high leg cut, so you can show off a peek of skin on the side with low-waisted or high-waisted pants. I got this bodysuit it the color stone, which makes it super easy to coordinate outfits with.
This is a closet staple that I’m definitely including into my capsule wardrobe. I am obsessed with the quality of this Pretty Little Thing piece!
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: I usually size up for bodysuits on Pretty Little Thing because they tend to run small. I got it in the size 2.
- The ribbed material comfortable and adds a nice texture
- The snap closures ensures a seamless and secure fit
- It’s plunging V-neckline is very flattering
- The snap closures can be a bit difficult to fasten.
- Can feel a bit tight
The Cream Woven Lace Up Detail Plunge Sleeveless Top from Pretty Little Thing caught my eye for its unique lace up design and beautiful cream color. I haven’t seen or tried anything like it before!
This top features a deep V-neckline with a lace-up detail on the front and both sides. The cream-colored woven fabric is lightweight and airy, making it perfect for summer.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! Love how it hugs and flatters my body shape.
- The lace-up detailing in the front and sides is a unique touch and adds some edginess
- The plunging neckline is very flattering
- The top is made of a lightweight material which is perfect for summer.
- Lace up details on the sides and front makes it difficult to wear a normal bra with it (I recommend these silicone nipple pads or just go braless!)
I’m all about cutouts these days, so when I saw the Khaki Marl Rib Cross Over Cut Out Top from Pretty Little Thing I knew I had to try it on. This top is designed with a khaki ribbed material, cross-over front, cut-out details at the waist, and cropped fit.
It takes a basic long sleeve crop top to the next level! I was also pleased with the feel of the material. It’s soft, stretchy, and very comfortable to move around in.
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sizing up for this top when I should have stayed with my typical size. I will need to alter the top so that it hug my body more.
Pretty Little Thing Sizing: This is true to size! I sized up to a size 2 when I should have stayed with my typical size–a size 0.
- The cross-over detailing in the front is flattering and gives the top some added interest.
- The ribbed material is stretchy and comfortable to wear.
- The khaki color is unique and perfect for fall.
- The cut-out detailing is a bit more revealing than I anticipated, so it may not be appropriate for more conservative settings
You can never go wrong with a scrunchie, so if they messed it up I would be fuming over this Pretty Little Thing review! Thankfully, it’s great. Just your basic scrunchie that can hold up a lot of hair.
I like to put my hair up in a ponytail for workouts with this scrunchie or a bun when I’m working from home. They also come in different colors too. If you need a basic scrunchie, just get this one!
- Simple design can be worn with a variety of outfits
- Soft fabric won’t damage hair
- Holds hair in place well–even if you have thick hair
- Only comes in basic neutral colors (can be great, but you won’t have a fun variety!)
Overall, the Basic Black Scrunchie is a solid choice for anyone in need of a basic hair accessory. It’s affordable, functional, and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Is Pretty Little Thing Good Quality?
Pretty Little Thing has gained a reputation for offering trendy, affordable clothing, but what about the quality of its products? I’ve ordered quite a few pieces from them so far. Here’s a previous haul and review on PLT. Here’s my take on whether Pretty Little Thing is good quality.
The quality of Pretty Little Thing products can vary. While some items are made with high-quality materials and construction, others may be made with cheaper fabrics or poor construction.
Check out this review and my previous one to make sure you’re getting good pieces. I always include pictures and an honest in-depth review of each piece.
When it comes to sizing, Pretty Little Thing’s clothing can be inconsistent. Some items may run small or large, so it’s important to check the size chart and read customer reviews before making a purchase.
Pretty Little Thing’s clothing sizes tend to run small. I like to order a size up for tops, bodysuits, and dresses. HOWEVER, their corsets and bralettes seem to run true to size for me, so I stick to my usual size for these pieces. Their bottoms also tend to be true to size.
It’s better to size up in general with Pretty Little Thing. That way you have room to make alterations to the pieces so that they fit you.
- Affordable prices (from under $5 to around $100)
- Wide range of product offerings
- On-trend styles
